Hi IH community!
Today I’m excited to share Liquid Timer, my new (and free!) focus & timer app for macOS, built for students, creatives, and anyone who wants to make time management a little more delightful.
I’ve always wanted a timer that felt native to Mac, visually engaging, and simple—without unnecessary fluff. Most timers either feel too basic or cluttered with features I never use. I wanted something fluid, beautiful, and deeply customizable, especially for my own ADHD and productivity struggles.
Drag out circular timers from the menu bar directly onto your desktop.
Unlimited floating timers—perfect for stacking Pomodoros, tracking parallel tasks, or keeping reminders always present.
Gorgeous liquid animations show your time “melting away” visually.
Personalization: Pin timers above any app, choose unique voices for alerts (or import your own sounds).
Native look & feel—built just for Mac, clean and minimal by design, with no distractions.
With Liquid Timer, I’m chasing the bigger mission to build clean, no-fluff, free apps for Mac users. We’re intentionally building in public—with all feedback welcome—and we’re challenging ourselves to ship one focused Mac app every single week.
I’d love for you to try it out (it’s free!) and tell me:
How does this visual timer fit (or not) into your workflow?
Any features, tweaks, or use cases I might have missed?
What helps you stay focused as a founder, maker, or student?
Your feedback and stories will directly shape Liquid Timer’s next steps. Grateful for all the support and the spirit of this community! 🙏

That liquid-flow visual is super calming—way nicer than a plain ticking countdown. 🫧
Love the minimalist vibe.
Bookmarked to try on my next focus sprint! 🙌
