Seven downloads is the smallest number your page could show a stranger, it is in the highest-attention slot you own, and it is the last thing someone reads before deciding whether to click. Absence of proof beats evidence against it. It comes off GitHub's download_count, so it is a one-line change in releases.js, not a copy edit. Bring it back at four figures and it becomes an asset. Move "v0.1.9" to the footer while you are there — a version number starting with 0 next to a CTA reads as beta. Two more on the first screen: Your button says "Download for MacOS arm64". That is a chip architecture in the most valuable element on your page. An Intel Mac owner reads it as "no", and the words "Intel" and "x86" appear nowhere else on the page, so they get no answer. "Download Free for macOS" sells the price; put the architecture in small text under it. Your header tagline and your hero subhead open with the same sentence — "Free, Fast, Secure Screenshot App for MacOS" — 158px apart. The visitor reads it twice on one screen and learns nothing the second time. That second line is the best real estate you have for the outcome: hit cmd+shift+2, annotate, get a shareable link. One thing you cannot see from the page, and it matters this week specifically: you have no og:image. Your page has exactly three meta tags and none of them is og: or twitter:. So this link, the one you just posted here, renders as bare text with an 8-character title. You are selling a tool that makes a good-looking image in one click, and your own link preview is empty. That is the cheapest demo you will ever ship. Related, and this one surprised me: your page pulls 6.1MB. Your logo is a 1024x1024 PNG weighing 620KB, drawn at 39x39px in the header and also serving as your favicon — a 64x64 would be a fraction of that. Your six feature screenshots add another 3.1MB and none of them is lazy-loaded, so they all download immediately while competing with your 1.5MB hero. Your second word is "Fast". What I would not touch: the headline. "Seen it? Shot it! Send It" names the whole product loop in six words and it survives a blur, which almost nothing in this category does. One button and no email gate is the right call. And showing each of the six tools with its own screenshot instead of a bullet list is exactly right for a visual product — the file sizes are the problem, not the decision.
