We make an instagram tracker tool. It's a simple tool. It's send daily mail with your account basic statics. The mail includes;
- Average likes
- Average comments
- Engagement rate
- Followers and Following numbers based on last seven days.

Looks cool but I think there should be some kind of authentication or means of verifying if I am the owner of the Instagram account.
For example, I just subscribed to alerts for your instagram account and emails will be sent to a non-existent email ID

I think that is fine, since only the stats of public posts will be sent as report. Correct me if i am wrong.
You are correct i send only public informations, but i have to confirm the email addresses because i get some spam email addresses in the db.
