"Free" LIFETIME access to PRO plan for the IH community

Hi, I'm a video creator and I make social media videos for small and medium businesses.

First of all, congratulations.
The interface is clean and essential.
The text animations are very well done, varied and beautiful. Cool!

It could improve in some places:

1. The choice of templates is confusing, I would like to simply choose the format and type of post. I would like to swap from different format too.

2. When I insert a text layer I can't decide how it comes out in the same scene

3. I don't know how to choose different transitions between scenes

4. Can I add music?

5. I would like to change the background while keeping the same text layer without adding a new scene

6. It would be great to have a free library of photo / video / music

• I'm sort of your target customer. I'm building an application that teaches people to read Chinese. To market the product I am going to create videos for YouTube/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok.
• I'm extremely lazy and I like the option of Google/Facebook sign ups
• I had a quick look at the templates, but they didn't really seem suitable for me since I'm not running an eCommerce site.
• I got a bit confused while starting with a blank scene

Overall I think it's really good, I'll pass this to a friend of mine who runs a very large ecommerce site.

Hi, the website design is super cool - I love the effect of revealing the templates when scrolling 💖
The issue (or maybe it was made on purpose) is that the tool is only for ecommerce. I think the product may be useful for a company like us (B2B SAAS), but the whole communication, examples, and templates are only for ecommerce products.
Let me know if I can use it to promote my Cluee app 🙃

Hi, here are my notes on the experience:

• registration went smooth, looked and felt very professional
• when creating the first project from template I was a little bit overwhelmed by the tags. It's this big wall and hard to read them (chaotic tag structure and bold text). Maybe just get rid of the tags and maybe introduce a search bar like we know from tools like canva.
  I just wanted to make an "Instagram Reel" and couldn't find what I was looking for.
  All Templates were "pro" and I wished to have at least a few free alternatives. I was disappointed and thought "Why could I even go to the select template screen if everyone of them is pro?"
  Bug: In Brave Browser after clicking a pro template nothing happend because Brave blocked the convertion-popup.
• Then I started from blank template and wished for a bit more guidance. I tried to drag and drop images from my computer and it didn't work.
• I added a blank scene and tried to delete the newly created scene by selecting it and waiting for a trash icon or the three dots to appear, but only later realized that the timeline need to be at this scene to show me options. I would have wished to to it independently of the current shown scene.
• the text layers looked nice on my scene but I really wished for adding my own images/videos or choose from a few free stock ones. without that I don't really know how to use the tool.
• download worked great and as expected and was very cool that I can download it in HD without watermark on the free plan 😊

I'm not sure that I'm your target audience but I'll try to give some feedback from the point of view of a complete newb to your product :D

The site, visually, looks great!

Initially, I'm not exactly sure what your service could be used for. I know that it's some kind of video editing tool, but I'm not sure where or how it could be used. What are the use cases? Perhaps showing some examples right away would let people know how it could be used.

Scrolling further down I see that it's purpose built for e-commerce sites. So I guess CreatorKit is for making product showcase videos?

I also see that it can do something with "retargeting ROAS with video automation"? I'm not sure what ROAS is.

Way further down the page I see that I can "Start creating marketing videos in minutes". Aha! I can create some marketing videos with this. Perfect! I'm trying to market my own SaaS so maybe I could use this. I'm still new to marketing though and I would love to get some guidance on how I can use videos for marketing my product. Where would I put these videos? What kinds of videos can I, or should I, be making? I know I would like to create a short explainer video on how easy it is to use my SaaS. Can I use CreatorKit to do this?

Ok, I've clicked on "Start Now" at the very bottom of the landing page, created an account, and now I'm on "Create a New Project". I keep clicking on "Start From Template" but nothing is happening. Now I see that there's a small bit of red text at the top left of the page that says, "Project name is required". Now I see the "Project Name" text field underneath the page title. Why can't I set the project name after I view a template?

Ok, I've set a project name, "Test", and now I'm on a page with a ton of tags at the top and what looks like a list of templates below that. The tags are overwhelming but I start reading them all, starting from the top left, looking for something that looks relevant. I'm looking to create an explainer video that is a quick demo of how my own SaaS website works.

I'm noticing a pattern to the tags. They repeat, but alternate between, "... Stories" and "... Posts". I'm not sure what "Stories" and "Posts" means. Is "Stories" for Instagram? I'm new to Instagram too. I'm not sure what "Shape Ads" are.

Maybe some kind of "Wizard" would help here. As in, first ask where this video is going to be used, Instagram, Twitter, E-Commerce Site, My Own Website, etc. Then ask what type of video is required, Product, Service, Self Promo, etc. And then show a list of tags and templates based off of the responses.

I can't seem to find any tag that I can use for an explainer video so I'll start scrolling the templates below.

I found a template called "Showcase" that looks promising. It has a short video of a macbook as a default scene. I add a new scene and add a video that I took to it. When the whole thing plays I see the original macbook scene play, then my new scene after, but the video I added isn't on there. I delete the default macbook scene, but now I can't find where to change the video for the remaining scene.

At the top right I see, "Blank", and under that there is, "Background Color", "Transition" and "Duration". In the three-dot menu I see, "Add New Scene", "Move Left", "Move Right", "Duplicate" and "Delete". I'm not sure where to add a video. And I'm not sure how I initially added the first video that didn't seem to work.

Animated content made easy - It has 3 slides but can't click on the dots to move backwards or forwards. Text higlights for the slide its on.
Further down the page you have similar but less bullet points than images and no high lighting of text to match slide.

Tool looks good and the free video cropping might come in useful in the future.
