📋 Free list of places to promote your product!

When we launched Logology a few months ago I looked for lists of places where I can put our logo maker to get our first users and get our first links for SEO

I found a few of them and started to sort the links by popularity and free/non-free. I also added a list of Reddit subs or Slack communities!

I put everything together in a Notion board, clean it up and make it public → link

Hope that will help you grow!

Have a look at this list @doomhammer

  2. 2

Cool @xavier can I use the list for one of my project?

    1. 1

      Of course!
Just duplicate the board and feel free to add/remove some websites regarding your activity!

  3. 2

Thanks for sharing! I'm curious, what sites did you have the most success with?

    1. 3

      Reddit!
      I didn't know Reddit a few months ago, it's a gem!
It one of our best source of traffic, feedback and it's a super community to understand the needs of your potential customers.

      1. 1

What are the best way to get best out of reddit?

        1. 1

I made a thread on twitter about it → https://twitter.com/AngeZanetti/status/1300803200262561793?s=20

It's probably worth a full article here, let me know if you need any more infos!

      2. 1

Got it, yeah I haven't really engaged much on Reddit but will definitely give it a shot!

  4. 2

Excellent job Xavier! The way to go.
Well done, exhaustive and well organized. Bravo.

P.S.: Please consider adding T5 (tools for online communication professionals) to it.
I think we fit right in. http://tools.robingood.com

    1. 1

Sure, Can you tell me how much traffic you have and if your link are no-follow?

I'll add Logology to T5 as well!

      1. 2

Logology it's already in the waiting list for being reviewed.

      2. 2

        Traffic: 5-10K
        Link: Do Follow

  5. 2

Wow this is an amazing list! I was actually searching for similar websites recently, and this helps a lot. Thanks for sharing!

  6. 2

That's great! I jut saw this on my phone while laying in bed. Now, 5 minutes later, I'm on my laptop trying to make the best of these new communities for https://dienox.com . thanks again! ;)

    1. 1

      Any feedback is welcome!

  7. 2

Thanks a lot. I am now focusing on a small market in my country, but this list will definitely help a lot later when I go world wide.

  8. 2

This is handy. I'm about to launch my project in a few weeks and I was wondering where to start with the getting users part.
    Thanks man

    1. 1

Feel free to let me know how I can make it even more helpful/valuable!

  9. 1

Thanks so much for sharing! Definitely going to use this <3

  10. 1

That's an awesome list @xavier - do you think Virtual Mojito can be counted as a place to put virtual experience related products?

    1. 1

Hum not sure, it's really super specific to remote teams and I don't have any other remote-specific resources for now :/

  11. 1

This is a gem! I was about to make a similar one on Notion and this is really helpful! Thanks.

  12. 1

Thank you for sharing, @xavier! How long did it take you to come up with such list??

    1. 1

I don't know exactly… I gather the links during the creation of Logology and spent hours to sort it

  13. 1

@xavier, thanks for the list, and thanks not asking people for their e-mail or to comment some stupid keyword :)

    1. 1

      Ahaha :)
I'll think to make a product out of it, what do you think?

      1. 2

If you manage to find country-specific publications it might be of use, but just so you know, a few other lists exist:

        https://submit.co/
        https://www.eggradients.com/startup-directory

And tools that submit your pitch for you too:
        https://mystartuptool.com/pricing
        https://www.instaaa.com/faq

(There was another one I knew about, but forgot the name...)

        1. 1

I have some country-specific resources I think, I need to check.

I know others lists exist, but I didn't found one sorted by "impact factor". That's why I created this one!

  14. 1

Great work! Inspired me to do my own list for my own projects (not so tech-based).

Props to you for sharing it openly! Love that!

    1. 1

      You're very welcome!

  15. 1

Thanks so much for your lovely list.

This is one of these posts I feel grateful for being part of this community. Thank you, @xavier!

I noticed you put Betalist as "Public Launch". I had put pluckd on it back when I opened the open beta and the results were dismal: very few likes, even fewer visits. I first thought this was normal and that my target customer didn't visit Betalist.

But if you say Betalist is for public launches, as in "official" launches instead of beta launches, then maybe I misunderstood the platform altogether!

    1. 1

I didn't try BetaList yet, I put it in the "public Launch" section after seeing some post here. It seemed that people can have some good traction with it…

This is amazing Xavier, exactly what I am looking for my ProspectRole Chrome extension tool https://prospectrole.com

  18. 1

    Thanks for sharing.
    Don't forget https://www.startupjohn.com though ;)

    1. 1

      I won't! I'll add it today

  19. 1

    Thank you for sharing :-)

  20. 1

Just duplicate it. Thanks for sharing with us.

  21. 1

This is amazing! As someone with a very small social media following who always hears about leveraging your audience, it's been very difficult navigating the space and putting my builds in front of the right people. I can't tell you how needed and significant this list is.

Thank you so much for sharing!

  22. 1

This is soooo awesome thanks Xavier!

  23. 1

Awesome list, thank you for sharing!

  24. 1

    Thanks for sharing this list.

          Oh I see.
We try to build some links with the list above + HARO and comments on some blogs.
And that's about it... We need to create some content in the blog but it takes some times!
