"Free" Marketing help for early stage indie SAAS devs (have rev. but zero extra time)?

Platform helps you find a free-lance or dedicated (but part-time) growth marketer for your already REVENUE GENERATING SaaS startup. If he gets you an incremental customer for your $10/m SAAS product, he keeps $2 of it for the life of the customer.

No up front cost to you the SAAS product owner (so "free" in that sense). Marketer pays his own way for everything only only collects when he gets you the SAAS customer. Fire the marketer any time you want.

Would anyone here use this service?

The big risk here is unscrupulous marketers. One of my companies has had issues in the past with a sales guy going rogue and promising potential customers whatever they wanted to hear just to close the deal. As a result, we lost a lot of money honoring the commitments that he inflicted upon us.

If you can show that you have solved that trust problem, I'd be interested.

fxtentacle, would love to chat for 15-20m if you're free for a Zoom call to get your thoughts further.

To clarify, this platform is targeting SAAS startups only (not bespoke dev shops/outsource firms). Thus, the SASS website "closes" (marketer only brings them to the site). If the digital marketer lies outrageously, the prospect would see that after going the SASS website and reading the feature list when signing up. Thus, there is no need to honor any commitments (it's a SASS site, you use it as is).

After 10+ yrs in San Francisco, I personally know quite a few experienced digital marketers (some with tier-1 FAANG experience) so it's a question of making it worthwhile for these marketers to do this "on the side" and ensure they get paid in a systematic automated way.

I'd like to remove the risk for both time strapped SASS entrepreneurs (i.e. SASS owner only pays out upon a signup) and marketer (marketer programmatically get paid out when sign up occurs - they don't need to call and beg for a checks every month).

We plan on adding a 30% affiliate to https://versoly.com/

    So I guess I would.

Volkandkaya, I assume marketer will get an affiliate code from you for user to use as a "discount coupon" when purchasing. Does the marketer have to "chase" you for his check every month? (i.e. if you get busy and forget to pay your marketer does he have to email you for his check?).

Well if you have a 15-20m I'd love to Zoom chat with you and get your thoughts. I've lived in San Francisco for 10+ years and know quite a few digital marketers. Some are looking for work "on the side" but you have to trust the SASS owner won't screw/shortchange you on a whim (which is a real obstacle I think for getting top digital marketer talent when no one knows each other).
