Free tool: calculate the efforts required to reach your outbound sales goals

We hit our 20th user this month and a lot of people ask us the amount of effort they should put in their sales to reach their goals, so I created a simple Google Spreadsheet to help you figure out your own metrics.

Grab a copy here and work with your own numbers so you know what to incorporate in your daily/weekly routine.

Now that you have clarity, it's no longer a matter of "if", but "when"!

    Hey Victor,

thanks for sharing this! Two questions:

    1. You wrote a note for appointment rate: "Expectations based on LTV: 4-digits annualy= 8%" . If our LTV is less than $500, what could you guess there? I think that many projects on IH have lower LTV than 4-digits. ;-)

    2. Do you count also with the time to actually have those interviews? Or just to get the call bookings? Because if I count to have 2 hours a day prepared for sales - I would like to include there the time for the calls, and then I guess you would have to input the average time for a call that closes the deal and actually get the customer, right?

      hey mister!

      1. I think for starters you shoot for anywhere between 1 & 5%, below that, something is wrong at a deeper level
      2. I only take into account the time you'll reach out to people, not the time you'll actually spend on calls. Now, I know your life can't be ALL about sales (can it?), so if you only have 2h to spend per day on sales, consider having 2 x 30 min calls with prospects and 1h worth of prospection. The seeds you'll plant during that 1h will grows to become your best customers down the line.

      hope this helps!

Alright, thanks for the additional info. I will take these into consideration when estimating my sales efforts there.
