Pretty cool. That is a quick way to get an overview of what you are going to build more apparently(not just something in your mind). I think it good tool for start building something. Nice works!

    1. 1

thank you, that was our goal!

  2. 3

I noted this tool very well, bc I almost tried writing the whole persona in my google note.

  3. 2

I tried it, and it was very useful. It saves a lot of time and provides the basic information to start the buyer persona recognition process

  4. 2

Understanding is very important. If you know what your customer will do next you can easily put your product in front of him and can change your product feature according to customer preferences.

That's why they said, the only HACK A BUSINESS NEEDS IS UNDERSTANDING THE CUSTOMER

For the tool, this is a great tool but I think going out and seeing yourself what your potential buyer doing online or offline is also very important ( unless you can design it inside it also ) . For example I usually use reddit to do market research because people in it like to complain and upvotes is great indicator what the customers thinking.

Subreddit also already great way to go directly to your customer. For example, I sell gym items product I can just go to any workout or exercise subreddit and analyze what people are doing there.

I have this article on how to use reddit to make customer research : Step by step: How to understand customer using reddit. Maybe you can automate this steps and improve the product.

interacting with people is the ultimate marketing hack

sadly, many founders don't do it :(

  5. 2

I like how the data comes out, the challenge is it's just prompt engineering with chat gpt mixed with some ui/ux and wrapped into a package.

Is there a plan to monetize?

    1. 1

      thank you!

we monetize it by upselling people to our paid products :)

  6. 2

This is a really nice tool, a lot of UX researchers will find this useful.

  7. 2

I just test this out my god, this is a really cool tool from UI/UX experienced designer! I like the fact that it's free sharing the crucial basic overview of user persona and have minimalistic emojis design. It would be cool if I could have this integration plugin on my website so, it help my startup clients identify their users. I look forward to seeing where this will take off!

    1. 1

appreciate it! glad that you liked it :)

  8. 2

Just tried it with some simple basic info. Gave me really good results! I'm going to keep playing... nice job

    1. 1

thank you! glad to hear that

  9. 2

    I'm a Product Designer.

The entire premise of a user persona is meant to give you insights into your target market and audience.

If you're just generating random personas, it's not different than just saying out loud "My target audience is XYZ". There are no insights from that. There is no direction from that. You can maybe infer where those people spend time, but you don't know their pain points or goals.

For example: I put "Product Design Agency" into your tool, and it the first problem that is generated is: "She is unsure of how to effectively communicate her brand personality and differentiate her product from competitors."

Branding has almost 0 to do with product design - that's handled by actual brand designers.

And that's why, no matter how often I see AI generated "UX" tools, I'll always comment: if you're using this to complete user related tasks, you're either going to fail or your users don't have a unique enough problem for you to solve.

        AI can help UX people.

AI cannot answer for real user interviews and tests.

          you cope too hard

Hey kronop, that was just my opinion after reading the privacy policy but I've removed that part from the comment now as I feel like it was not expressed well. I think it's fine if readers make their own judgement I think the important part was to bring the text from the privacy policy. Have a good day!

Super cool tool for streamlining user personas.

  12. 1

Pretty cool. Quick way to get insight from ideal user without taks so much time. Nice works Dan

  13. 1

I love how well-crafted the actionable advice is. Great breakdown of pains and benefits too for the target audience I am after.

  14. 1

The Idea is reasonable and awesome, the logic is also easy to guess. but as we know that some times the market does not work according to reason and logic. So how can you justify that your result is correct ? do you have some underlying papers or social research ?

  15. 1

If this works well people should care a lot about this.

This is essentially the foundation of any great business. Customers are what decides whether or not a business succeeds. Any tool to help you understand how to reach your customer is essential.

  16. 1

This is a great tool for UI/UX designers who want to learn the basics of user persona and create simple emojis. I appreciate that it is free and easy to use. I wish there was a way to integrate this tool on my website, so I could help my startup clients understand their users better. I'm excited to see how this tool will evolve in the future!

  18. 1

Sorry but this thing does not get me a good result, this is just some prompt engineering. Can real products please make a comeback?

    1. 1

What defines a "real product" for you? Serious question

      1. 1

If you build on something like ChatGPT, there is no way to make sure your business has any longevity. The API and pricing logic could change any day.

I see a lot of people building products that are essentially the answers of a custom prompt, plus a user prompt, wrapped in a website.

Then, those products like to make unrealistic promises about the quality of the answers (as is the case here: getting good personas out of a prompt.)

People should understand ChatGPT is an LLM that generates answers based on a probability and not on correctness. There is no way an LLM can set up a correct persona without knowing a lot of details in advance, and even then as an author you should correct and steer the LLM in the right direction.

        1. 1

So, any business relying on external API is not a real product? Interesting

    2. 1

Launch at least one product as an Indie Entrepreneur before you call something not a "real product"

      Thanks :)

      1. 1

This thread is about your product, not mine. I tried it, and I got a generic persona back that had little to do with what my product is about.

Then, I tried to edit the inputs, but I couldn't.

        1. 1

It's okay to say some product is imperfect. I appreciate feedback that gives me directions on how to improve it.

It's not cool to divide products into real and not real to diminish someone's work when you launched 0 products.

          Good luck.

          1. 1

Just giving feedback man. How many products I launched is irrelevant.

  19. 1

Overall, I really like this as it’s a quick way to highlight pain points the industry you’re dealing in faces. Gave me a new perspective on some things too. Would love if when you punch in your email it would send you the summary of the whole thing, or have a way to export easy.

    Nice work

  20. 1

This is so cooool, I love this so much. Sooo simple to use and its super pretty. Instant fan earned. However, its not fully free, please say its freemium directly next time.

    1. 1

We don't charge money from people in this product.

Question: where's the data for these user personas coming from?
