Hey hackers!
I'm looking for the best tool to send a newsletter about the update to my users.
I also want them to be able to unsubscribe if they wish to.
I tried TinyLetter which is pretty cool. I can just extract manually user list and send the newsletter but since it's only plain-text, I can't find a way to track and update users who wish to unsubscribe.
I don't have anything against paying for quality tools but since I have a few hundreds users on LeClapClub now and not monetizing yet, I'd rather keep it free until I hit say 5k users.
Any favourite tools?
Thanks for the answers. I've picked MailChimp because I already know it and it's free under 2k subscribers. I'll give MailerLite a look when I reach the 2k threshold. At least I'm saying this now but I have a feeling I'm just gonna be lazy at and pay Mailchimp... Funny how sometimes you don't want to think, just pick the familiar option and just later subscribe out of easiness..
@julesmaregiano understand your concern - I've tried and using many mailing software for my startups and previous companies. Just to name a few that I'm using right now: MailChimp, Sendinblue, SendGrid, and MailerLite.
I end up spending most of my on MailChimp and MailerLite. And I've to give MailerLite a slightly bigger vote because it's super startup-friendly.
MailerLite empowered the whole funnel for my little project from lead capture, welcome email, drip campaign, split test, automation. Also analytics including unsubscription. It's super easy to customize and implement. And cheaper.
They have got a supportive community on Facebook where people actively sharing hacks and tips.
Mailchimp is the market leader in this which I have most experience with.
100$ free up to a certain size.
Sendinblue also good, using for 1 project now and also does transnactional emails.
If you are already using TinyLetter than why not Mailchimp?
