Free Trial with or without asking for the credit card first?

And I want to get your updated opinion on this subject matter. I am currently in this dilemma, we're choosing for newny.io, whether to ask for CC details along with the trial (proven to have high conversion rate and validates whether people are willing to pay) vs offering a standard free trial without signing up with CC details first.

I know that SkillShare and Netflix offer their free trial with CC included.

What are your experiences, professionally and personally?
