From your testimonials: "I have sent out 10-15 emails, and have gotten a couple responses back โ€” 1 landed more work."

As a consultant, this sounds like a problem statement rather than a glowing endorsement - this sounds less like following leads, and more like cold-emailing.

@qrohlf just starting out so we got to use what we have ๐Ÿ˜‰.

This is cold-outreach and sales. What we've seen is that most freelancers struggle to fill their pipelines. They stay within their existing networks and don't look outside them. This is often because they don't know where to find leads, don't have the tools to find leads, don't have the time to find leads, and they might not be great at the sales and follow up.

We think with a steady stream of cold leads and some helpful sales tools we can help freelancers expand and grow their businesses. That quote is trying to highlight that, but I can see how it's not perfect.

Thanks for the feedback. Was there anything else that could be improved?

Have you validated the notion that the reason freelancers don't look outside their networks is because they lack access to cold leads?

Personally, for myself and most of the folks I know, the reason to go with networking versus cold-emailing is that the ROI on time for cold-emailing is very poor, to the point where even something like Upwork starts to look more attractive.

Looking at your primary domain, it looks like you make a product that potentially reduces the amount of time freelancers have to spend communicating with potential clients. I'd probably incorporate that value proposition into your marketing for this feature somehow, since it potentially starts to tip the ROI-for-time balance in favor of cold emailing instead of networking or browsing freelance marketplaces.

To be honest, it sounds a bit too good to be true, although it depends on what kind of leads would you be giving. As far as I understand, you do not contact companies directly, but only find their names and emails? What will I be getting if I sign-up? What does the "lead" include?

I also would sing-up, but I need more details on your process of generating leads. If you could reply here, so that everyone will know, it would be great.

    Thanks!

My only hesitancy with signing up is you don't speak to the kind of leads you source. For all I know, you could just be hitting up job boards of companies looking for freelancers, which I could do in 5 minutes for free.

Furthermore, you don't outline the kind of information I would receive. Is it name and email, phone number, address, etc?

Lastly, how do you "qualify" a lead? What is that process like?

I know you didn't ask, but I would recommend touching on all of these points. I would be open to signing up for this if that was explained.

Dude, this looks amazing! WAY better than the last time - I checked most of the main pages and now everything is very clear - awesome work ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Really glad you took the feedback and made all of these improvements.

I think I will sing-up and see how it all works - offer looks compelling.

P.S. You have a lot of features "coming soon" and some of them like scheduling, merging, Gmail and email tracking would be super useful. Do you know a more exact timeline on when these features are coming?

      1. 1

thanks @benas11. We're launching a ton of those features of the next 30 days.

I see you signed up, but may have seen an error page. ๐Ÿ˜–That should be fixed now. Sorry about that. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

cool idea. what if i don't do design or engineering? lol. Are there still leads for other people based work?

btw: "You could be making $18,000 more per year with gauranteed leads" -- guaranteed is spelled wrong on the page btw.

@jcheng45 We work with all kinds of freelancers. Primarily digital creatives. Marketers, Writers, Designers, Developers, Consultants, Accountants, Admins, etc. What type of work do you do?

Ps. Thanks for the spelling catch. Fixed it!

@heylorenzut @benas11 @brettwill1025 great questions all around. Thank you to you all ๐Ÿ™. I figured I would respond in a single post here since there was some overlap.

      1. Lead criteria: We start by understanding what types of clients and projects you are looking for. We ask what type of services you provide, what industries and verticals you focus on, typical company size, preferred location, and who typically hires you. This helps us focus our efforts on the right clients that fit your niche.
      2. How we find leads: We use a few different professional tools to find these leads including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, LeadFuze, Prospect, and others. These tools are typically used by sales teams and have pricing models and effort requirements that don't really work for freelancers.
      3. Lead details: Every new lead is populated with name, email, company name, website, and LinkedIn profile URL.
      4. Verifying leads: We then check that the contact is still at the company and that the email and info we provide is accurate and valid. Sometimes people have moved on to another company or the email we find is inaccurate so we filter those out.
      5. Unique Leads: We don't send the same lead to multiple people unless their services differ drastically. For example: A freelance designer and a freelance book keeper. And even then the lead criteria would need to match.

The key is that we provide a steady stream new potential clients. These clients are cold ๐Ÿฅถ, but with some simple outreach and nurturing we see freelancers having success warming them up ๐Ÿ”ฅand turning them in to paying clients. We have a built in simple CRM tool and email templates that make the sales process much easier.

Did that help answer some of your questions? What do you think? What else can we make more clear?

Thanks again for all the incredibly valuable feedback.

Thank you! Itโ€™s much more clear now. You should focus on conveying this information on your landing page in some way. As you can see people have more questions from your website than they get answers.
