Fresh start: First customers! 🎉

After the recent release of Mailist AI, I'm proud to announce that I have landed our first two sales!

The first subscriber came right from the early-phase waitlist, and the other one is an old user (over two years) who was super happy with the basic free functionality of Mailist.

Mailist is already over three years old, and we've struggled with monetization. But right now, I feel like we are on the right track.

To give you a recap of Mailist performance so far:

• Started mid-2018
• Sold a few lifetime-deals
• Tried subscriptions for Mailist Pro
• Removed subscriptions
• Generated ~$640 in total
• We have over 3500 users
• Our users saved almost 300.000 links
• We are sending ~1.2k personalized emails, weekly.

After rethinking the product market fit:

• We built Mailist AI
• Started subscription model from day one after the release.
