@AndrewV on updating docs! A loveless pursuit, but essential!
WIP of the Magnus Rush podcast app and podcast augmenting platform
Thanks. Updating the docs is not that bad now that I'm using mkdocs with a proper build and markdown support. Same with the blog :)
Good to see the continual process. You have some SaaS beta testers now, right? If so, how's that been going?
It's been quiet, because I've been out of state a lot over the last couple of weeks, and also going through a crunch time at the day job. But everything's been running without error, like clockwork. I'm going to do a big push this weekend for some more SaaS engagement features so the users know when I've retrieved a new episode from their RSS and it's ready for enhancements.

Uhm. Can we get a link to the blog post?
Allegedly?! hahaha
I put the blog under the "More" link at the top. I know people don't usually click that, but all landing page experts/copywriters seem to say to limit the number of links people can click so they focus more on CTAs.

No gated beta. I have a list now and think I have a short term beta release soon (0-2 weeks away)...but I'd like to be at a stage to just let visitors "sign up" by the end of the month.

Have this product still going and growing. Some may see that as too vague, but as someone with a few failed SaaS, this would be quite the improvement.
YESTERDAY (last week)
Finished integrating Stripe, had the kids for the weekend while my wife was out on a trip and got sick.
TODAY (this weekend)
Work on a simple onboarding workflow to make sure people get set up with Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket and make sure they're seeing some value at the start. Also, think about getting Pull Manager deployed to Heroku.
Totally understand the vague EOY plans. Got a few failures under my belt as well :-P and I think IH, learning from others, and actively seeking out beta testers has been a huge boon to keeping me motivated to continue (even though I know the mistakes I'm making in choosing what to work on, etc)!
I can also relate to the onboarding! Just got a friend to beta test my app, and watching the blank stare as they see my app for the first time makes me sad haha. It usually takes me about 3-5 mins to explain the core of the app, but without it, people are completely lost.
Yeah, plus you always seem to find out what you thought was important by scratching your own itch is different than most other users! A Daily standup failed SaaS taught me how valuable a lot of people found integrations.
