Friday Stand Up! Second to the last day to complete your epic!

Why?

That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.

To join in:

01 COMMENT on AT LEAST ONE fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in. Let's get in there with the encouragement/feedback! (Changing the order, because I know we can do better!)

02 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of August.

03 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

04 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

Optional:

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

    KUDOS

@flog and @louisswiss for bolstering my spirits. (Smiling) Spirits have definitely taken a hit. @helengriffinjr for holding down stand up all by her lonesome.

@Janice Not only do you have 1 more day, but you’re the freaking CEO with executive privileges aka change the goal post. It can stay $5k in revenue, $5k in pre-sales or $800 in sales. Life happens, the market happens, so learn & move on by actively testing/practicing what you learn. If you need a moment to be in your feelings, take that moment. But don’t let that moment take the lead. Lead yourself to victory because you’re a freaking warrior!
-Battle cry 🛡 (& hugs 🤗) from me to you

Those hard fails are rough, but we can always learn from them. You've got one more day to tweak things and have a strong finish for the month!

    KUDOS
@Taormina on redesigning Danger World homepage. It’s way better!

@DavidGetchel on getting the final touches done w/ novella!

    SIDE NOTE
Original EPIC was in revenue... by Aug 27th I got my first booking aka a signed contract that books service to be rendered. Got word from my pilot customer that they're not ready to begin right away. Understandable reasons but factors that are out of my control this sale is not going to be realized in revenue today. I'm ok w/ that because both the value of the contract and opportunity is worth the wait.

In August, I rediscovered myself and identified a problem and market I'm suited to care about and help. That in itself has relieved a lot of stress.

I think I'm going to take the weekend off. I'll iterate/update my MVP messaging, website and emails next week. A sistah is sleepy 😴 😂
