Friday Standup

What are your goals for August?

What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?

What will you do today?

  1. 1

Yesterday: tried to debug why my app build is failing.
Today: will continue to try getting my app build to work. Sigh
August: no specific goals. Just trying to make as much progress as I can.

    1. 1

Any progress on the bug hunting?

      1. 1

Yes, thanks for asking! Finally squashed it. Only took two days 🙄 I was barking up the wrong tree for a long time. I thought it was a bug in my code, turns out it was a bug in a library I was using. 🤷‍♂️

  2. 1

For August I'm going to create a network of fitness apps.
Yesterday I created DB and connected an app to it.
I will completely finish the app integration.

  3. 1

    Goal for August:
Get all work off my plate (except ft job) so I can start a new side project:

    • Get paid for contracting gig #1
    • Finalize equity payment for contracting gig #2
    • Add features and billing to LinkDrop

    Yesterday:

    • Added premium features to LinkDrop
    • Added billing to LinkDrop

    Today:

    • Add ToS to LinkDrop

This has been a really rough week. Finalizing and getting paid for the contract work I took on from before has taken up way more time than I thought it would. I should have set out terms earlier in the agreement and definitely should not have done one of the jobs for equity.

My goal is to launch Pingr on HN.

Yesterday I was working on mobile version that that it looks at list a bit nicer than it is right now.

Today I'm going to gather information about successful HN launches, write an article for HN and think about some good titles for it.

    1. 1

When do you plan to launch?

      1. 1

I've wrote an interesting article which I want to post today on HN. I'm waiting for a friend to check my english there, and then I'm going to post it.

It's not a direct link to product, rather it's indeed something interesting about psychotherapy :)
