FRISHAY Motorcycle Jacket Review: Waterproof Protection That Actually Works
Took the FRISHAY armored jacket out for a proper test ride yesterday. Cold morning, light rain, about 6°C.
Honestly, I was skeptical about how well it would hold up. Waterproof gear can be hit or miss.
Two hours later, I was impressed. The thermal lining kept me warm without making me sweat. The waterproof membrane did its job—I stayed completely dry despite constant drizzle. And the high-vis panels meant I felt visible even in low light.
But here's what really stood out: the armor. It's CE-rated and positioned exactly where you need it—shoulders, elbows, back. You barely notice it's there until you need it. That's the sign of good design.
The Cordura shell feels tough without being stiff. It moves with you instead of fighting you.
What I appreciate most is that it doesn't try to look like racing gear. It's practical. It's functional. It's the kind of jacket you can wear for a commute or a weekend tour without looking out of place.
If you ride, you know the difference between gear that works and gear that just looks good. This one works.

Nice write-up. I've been eyeing this jacket for a while. How does the breathability hold up in warmer weather, say around 15-20°C? I'm worried the thermal lining might be too much for spring riding.
