From 0 - $1,000 Per Month

Hey Everyone,

I just joined Indie Hackers because I want to learn from all of you and share my journey to go from 0 to $1,000 per month side hustle by August 31.

A few little tidbits of who I am and where I am coming from to give context into my journey.

1. My specialty is SEO content. Meaning that I've grown a couple of blogs using content marketing to over 100,000 visitors per month. But when it comes to technical SEO, I am a bit limited.

2. My recent blog that I was growing, Time Doctor, was doing in the neighborhood of 168,000 visitors a month, and generating around 8,000 leads a month.

3. I do have an email list (~630 suscribers) who hear from me weekly about SEO and content marketing in general.

4. I have about 20 pieces of content on my blog- haven't done much in promotion. Have done a bit of link building.

So, here's my plan for the next 2.5 months or so.

Step 1: This week, I want to decide on a product or service. Chances are, it's going to be in the SEO / marketing space, since that's where I have my head start.

IDK if this is going to be a course, a productized service, a SaaS, or a plugin or what.

Step 2: Promote my content and see if I can build my email list to about 1,000 visitors or so.

Step 3: Launch a product by the middle of July. I think it's going to take at least 6 weeks or so to get to $1,000.

Step 4: Continuous sales/growth.

I am excited to see how this turns out!
