Hey everyone 👋
This is Zoltán from Flowbite and in the "State of Flowbite 2022" I talk about how we were able in just under one year to reach over one million downloads on NPM with the most popular open-source UI component library built for Tailwind CSS.
Enjoy ❤️

Unfortunately I cannot disclose the numbers - it's probably not as much as people would think but it's enough for us to keep things going. We are a team of two with 2-3 other developers helping us part-time.
Flowbite is an amazing resource. I have seen it once and thought to try it out.
Glad to hear this news. 👏
Thanks for the good words! Always happy to see peeps using Flowbite.
Great! I have tried Flowbite before and it was a great experience. Definitely recommend it.
Thanks a lot! Means so much when you've been working on it 2+ years.
The key part of the 0 to 1 million performance was that we consistently added new content and UI components to the base library and we used all marketing means including Twitter to enable a "build in public" type of product.
As you can see on the NPM chart the growth has been very steady and that is because adoption rate was also increasing due to recommendations from users already using the framework and UI components.
To give you an example, when we launched a new component (example would be the modal), we not only planned it, prototyped it, designed it, tested it, and released it but we also shared this with our community and other communities including Indie Hackers.
One year has 365 days and we made every each one count as much as possible and although I would like to share more about what we did, I can only recommend you to keep iterating the releases and don't be afraid to launch new features in a step by step process.
Also use every marketing mean to share your work and try to offer as much value as possible to a well targeted audience.
You can ask me anything here and I'll be happy to respond!
Amazing journey 🤩
Thanks, Florin! Excited to work together with your iCodeThis community in the future.
