From 0 to 10k users by helping job seekers get a job faster using automation (and how you can do that too)

In this post, I would like to share a bit of our story, in order to motivate other people to start their own businesses and change the world.

I started Loopcv about one year ago. I was doing a master thesis in Belgium and I didn't have time to search for a job.
Well, George.... but there are so many tools out there like Linkedin, Indeed, etc. you might ask.

I agree. But there is a problem.

They need your attention every single day. And that was my problem. I spent a lot of hours doing research for my master thesis and I didn't have the time nor the motivation to copy-paste my name and my email across different websites just to apply and let people know that I am looking for a job.
While spending time applying online, I tried to find tools that help you do it faster.

I had a lot of friends doing sales internships, and I knew that a lot of tools exist to send a lot of emails to customers.
Well, I thought...probably something like this exists for people looking for a job right?

The answer was NO. I couldn't find something that automatically does the work for me so that I could pay a small amount to accelerate the process.

So I decided to build it.
I started creating simple scripts. First just collecting some jobs from public sources, then finding the emails of those people using plugins, etc...
And the result??

Companies started reaching out to me...
That was the "aha moment" for me.

I built something to solve my own problem and I was sure that there are more people out there that will have the same problem as me.

And this is how https://loopcv.pro started!

So how do you reach an audience?
Well, here I am doing it right now. I did the same on the first day of releasing our product. I created a couple of Reddit posts to ask if people would try a tool like this. It turned that they would love to.

The rest of the story is mainly the daily execution of the vision of Loopcv:
Making sure that people who find the job search very time consuming and frustrating can automate it while spending time learning new things.
