Malith Gamage, a seasoned software developer from the Netherlands, has spent over 15 years in tech - and just as long training in kickboxing and Muay Thai.
After co-founding Videco, one of the Netherlands' fastest-growing AI startups, the project collapsed due to a founder breakup. From that experience, Malith learned hard lessons: don’t quit your job without customers, avoid constant pivots, and be cautious with equity.
After a short break, he returned with a new idea - ZapDigits, a no-code business intelligence platform built for indie founders and small teams. Tired of writing custom scripts to unify data from Stripe, GitHub, and Supabase, he decided to build something simpler. Mandy, his fiancée, joined him in building the MVP.
They soft-launched in July 2025 on Fazier, expecting little. Instead, ZapDigits became Product of the Day and later #2 Product of the Week, bringing in hundreds of users and a boost of momentum.
ZapDigits runs on a flat-rate subscription model and is still in early stages with a free trial user base. With a public roadmap and a soft launch underway, Malith and Mandy aim to secure their first 100 paying users - and they’re building it all in public.
