🌞 From Dark Rooms to Bright Ideas – Why I’m Building Vindow

Hey everyone 👋 I’m Eli, a serial entrepreneur from Tel Aviv. Over the last 20 years I’ve built both digital and physical products — from a European passport services company that grew to 150 employees, to apps like Gifka (digital wallet for gift cards) and Vocai (AI conversational analytics).

But some of my best ideas came from very personal frustrations.

A few years ago I worked for long stretches in a windowless office. It felt claustrophobic, draining, and honestly depressing. Installing a real window wasn’t possible, and most of the so-called solutions were either expensive skylight systems or gimmicky screens.

That’s when I thought: what if there could be a “virtual window” that actually felt real?

This led me to create Vindow — a patent-pending smart light panel that syncs with real daylight and weather conditions. It’s not a monitor. It’s an ultra-thin LED panel with scenic inserts that transforms any windowless room into a bright, uplifting space.

💡 Why it matters:
Light changes mood. A simple illusion of daylight can reduce stress, boost productivity, and make people feel better in their own spaces.

I’ve filed a provisional patent, built prototypes, and already have early interest from distributors in Israel, Italy, and India. My mission is simple: make every room feel like it has a window.
