From Developer to entrepreneur

In my head this is a pretty typical situation when a developer wants to become an entrepreneur. So, what skills should i upgrade if i am very good developer? This is my first post and i want to discuss more, than teach you something.
In my future posts I want to expand on this topic and help all developers as much as possible.

I started this path about a year ago and in this post I would like to share my vision of it and briefly go through each one.

Design - We must master this skill so much that we can independently design any of our products. This is not exactly a standard design work; rather, it all comes down to how to customize ready-made templates/tools to suit your needs.

Marketing - this is, in principle, the basis for creating products; in fact, we must change our thinking to put marketing at the forefront of everything and make further decisions based on analytics.

Commications - this is a separate topic for conversation, I plan to write a lot more material on this topic 😊

Product mind - the most difficult thing for me was to get rid of the development mindset and move to a more product-oriented one. We shouldn't think about how to make a quality product from a technical point of view, we should think about the USER point of view. It's actually more difficult than it seems...

How can you answer if developer comes to you and ask "what should i learn to be an entrepreneur"?

Hope that was interesting. Good luck!
