From dishwasher to learning Rails to launching on Product Hunt!

Hey all,

Im Steven, and what started as a tool to help me during my freelancing work has become a product. I built invoicebloom.io for myself, to help me manage my clients and create invoices. I shared with a couple of friends who started using it and now we launch on PH!

Congratulations on the release, Steven! Appreciate how InvoiceBloom originated as a self-solution, that's where the most functional and beautifully crafted tools tend to be born. Working with clients and invoices can be such a pain for freelancers, so excellent to see a product created by someone who's experienced that type of pain themselves. Looking forward to seeing how it develops and assists more freelancers streamline their workflow

I’ve been in the freelance trenches myself, so I know how solving that personal pain feels like a breakthrough.

But your launch is stuck selling a feel-good origin story instead of a guaranteed financial fix.

The real mistake comes from using soft language like “helped me manage clients,” which doesn’t highlight the dollar cost of invoicing friction.

Pivot now and rewrite your messaging with Loss Aversion copy that spells out the exact hours and cash freelancers lose each week.

How are you positioning this as the Guaranteed Revenue Conversion tool that eliminates their Hidden Salary Sink?
