From freelance headaches to building my own tools

I got tired of wasting hours on job ads that turned out to be scams or underpaid traps.
So I built IsThisJobLegit – it scans job ads and gives a verdict before you waste your time. Then I realized… sometimes the ad is fine, but the client is the problem.
So I built ClientFlagger – a growing database where freelancers can check if a client has a good reputation before working with them. Both tools are simple MVPs, but they solve the exact problems that frustrated me most as a freelancer. Now I'm working on growing the database for ClientFlagger, so every freelancer can search before they say yes.
If you're a freelancer, I'd love your take – and if you've had bad (or good) experiences with clients, you can submit them here: ClientFlagger – Submit a report .

Hi, I think it's a good idea, especially on Fiverr, which is filled with people who send you to Telegram.

Many fall for it because they save the platform's commission and get paid more, but they end up scamming you.

It would be nice if you shared the link so I could give you more specific feedback.

Hey, Fiverr is basically Telegram trap central, right?
I built a couple of tools after too many bad gigs:
isthisjoblegit.netlify.app scanner that flags red-flag job ads before you waste time.
clientflagger.netlify.app A crowd-sourced database where freelancers can check if a client is trouble before hitting “yes”.
Both are still early-stage, but I’d love to get your honest feedback—especially from anyone familiar with Fiverr’s “better pay” Telegram offers.
