Hey everyone,
I’ve been working as a software architect for a while, and honestly, documentation has always been one of those things I just never enjoyed.
Not because I don’t like diagrams, but because the tools we use still feel stuck. It’s always the same: boxes, lines, and eventually a messy 2D diagram that’s hard to explain and even harder to understand.
A few months ago, I started building something for myself to see if there’s a better way.
The idea was simple: what if architecture diagrams worked more like real structures layered, with depth instead of everything crammed onto one flat surface?
So I built Lynara.io
This weekend was the launch. It’s a 3D architecture tool where you can stack layers (infra, app, data, etc.) and actually see how things relate across depth, not just side-to-side.
I skipped making a demo video on purpose, it’s one of those things that only really makes sense when you try it yourself.
Right now I’m at the point where I need honest feedback.
If you’ve worked with system design, I’d really appreciate your thoughts:
You can try it here (no signup needed): https://lynara.io
You can leave feedback directly in this thread or on my in-app roadmap.
Thank you for helping a solo founder out! 🙏
“Stacking infra and app layers with actual depth is a brilliant way to solve the 2D 'spaghetti diagram' problem—3D makes cross-layer dependencies way easier to visualize. 🏗️ The 'no signup' trial is a great move for getting architects to actually play with it.
Nice idea, this could be a good way to test it. There’s a competition where you can submit it — entry is $19 and winner gets a Tokyo trip.
Prize pool just opened at $0 so your odds are the best right now.”
Spot on. 3D is the only way to solve the 2D diagram chaos! Glad you enjoyed the friction-less trial too.
And thanks for the lead on the competition, $0 prize pool start + a Tokyo trip is too good to pass up. Appreciate the support! 🙌
“Glad the 3D visualisation idea resonated! Prize pool is still at $0 — your odds are literally the best they’ll ever be.
We just finished end-to-end testing the full buyer flow and it is now super smooth.
$19 entry gets you the AI artifact, SPEAR analysis, and your shot at the real Tokyo trip (flights + hotel booked by us).
Round closes permanently at 100 entries.
Want me to send you the direct $19 link and walk you through it step-by-step?”
