I created App Imp because I wanted a better way to decide what’s actually worth building. There are plenty of ideas, but most of the time you’re still relying on intuition, trends, or a handful of reviews to decide whether a problem is worth pursuing.
App Imp analyzes millions of App Store reviews and looks for the complaints that repeatedly show up across a category. It ranks those complaints by frequency and compares them against a baseline across the whole dataset, helping separate genuine market gaps from problems that are simply common to apps in general.
The goal is simple: spend less time guessing what to build, and more time building things people are already telling you they want.
