From hesitation to shipping - I built and shipped my first AI tool this week (17 y/o founder).

Hey everyone, this week, something shifted, and for the first time, I shipped something that felt real.

I’m 17 and just getting into my first real product.I’ve always been surrounded by code. Classes, camps, even friends building stuff, but I never actually learned it. Honestly, it felt confusing, and I always felt a step behind.

But something changed this week. I stopped waiting to feel ready and just started shipping.

I’m building a tool that generates full ad creatives using psychology (things like loss aversion, social proof, contrast, etc.) — combining AI copy and image generation into a simple workflow for small brands.

So far:

I’ve built a working no-code version using OpenAI, Zapier, and Tally

My first real user submitted feedback

I got invited into a beta by another founder who liked my tone controls idea

And somehow Courtland promoted my account today — which made it all feel real

I still haven’t written a line of actual code. But I’m learning. And for the first time, I feel like I’m not just building for validation — I’m building for myself.
