From Humble Beginnings to My First Success Through Indie Development

This is a long story.

I grew up in a poor family with little access to a proper education, and the knowledge I gained from books never really filled the gaps in my soul. As I grew older, it seemed inevitable that I'd end up struggling in life — there was no doubt about it. For a while, I believed this was all I could expect from life.

But I couldn’t accept it. I knew I had to change my fate. With the rise of self-media platforms, everyone knew that content creators were making money online. So, I decided to try my hand at becoming a YouTuber.

However, stepping into this world, I quickly realized how much harder it was than I had imagined. Everything was foreign to me, and I felt overwhelmed by the challenges. After countless attempts, I finally managed to shoot the video, but then came the real problems. Video editing, post-production effects, sound design, music… one challenge after another hit me, and soon I was stuck.

In the end, I couldn’t finish the video. I felt incredibly frustrated. But deep down, I knew I couldn’t let this be the end of my story. I couldn’t remain in the same place forever. I had to rise above it.

So, I pivoted. I decided to teach myself how to code and dive into indie development. After months of hard work and persistence, I created my first project — Textideo.com.
