From "I Hate Editing Videos" to "I Built Video-as-Code" - Developer Story

I’m a developer who recently partnered with a short-term rental property management company, and together we’re building a stack of AI powered applications for Airbnb and STR hosts:

Building 3 products at the same time is already chaotic… but trying to market them as a developer? Even worse.

The thing that slowed me down the most was video creation.
Every product needs promo videos, and every time I opened a video editor, I'd lose hours, get a headache, and end up hating the whole workflow. Now multiply that pain by x3 products.

At some point I thought:
Why can’t I just write videos like code?
JSON + React + Tailwind → video.

So I built it.

In less than a week, I created VidBuilder (https://vidbuilder.ai) a video-as-code platform where you define animations, text, music, themes, scenes, etc. as structured code, and it automatically generates clean promotional videos.

And the crazy part?
I was able to make all my 4 product videos in under an hour:

Still iterating, but this tool basically unlocked marketing for me.
