Hey indie hackers, what is your working process after you have the idea?
You have an idea for a product ( newsletter, info product, etc). Where do you go from there?
Do you write what you need to do?
You write all the steps and do one by one?
Do you validate your idea in any way?
Would love to know the process. I am a believer of try to create the product as soon it matures a bit in the head and before that, I write a checklist with the main points of the idea and what needs to be done.
What about you?
I would suggest you to go through this gumroad guide. It helped me quite a lot. Look out for 14 Day Product Challenge Guide

I did not know about that until just now -- thanks!
I didn't know about this resource. A lot to learn here. Thanks :)
This is my Startup check List,
Find a problem to solve which resonates with you.
Validate the problem and ensure that there is enough need gap.
Visualize a cost-effective solution which solves that problem. You would now have a startup idea.
The solution should be good enough for the people who face that problem(2.), so that they are willing to pay for that to get their problem solved. You would now have a business model.
Validate the startup idea with those who face that problem(2.).
Calculate and raise the appropriate capital for your startup.
Build a right team to create the solution i.e. product.
Find the product-market fit with a Minimum Viable Product.
Long term sustainability of your problem now depends upon how large is the need gap, how good your product solves that problem and how it fares when compared to the solutions offered by your competitors. So, you need to build on your solution according to the market demands. You would now have a product strategy.
Find the people who face the problem which your startup solves and sell your product to them. You would now have a marketing & sales strategy.
I always get stuck on #2. LoL
This can help for #2 - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/get-your-first-customers-before-you-start-building-6ba80a4b78.
I start with simple documentaion on Notion. It gives me extreme clarity on what I am building and helps fill the gap in my idea.
I've also made framework on notion around it. Feel free to duplicate it and try. You can always ping me as well if you find anything confusing

Validate it. Find where your target customers hang out and ask 10 of them to talk to you. Read "the mom test" to learn how to run validation interviews.
The "mom test" is on my to-read list for long. I think I just have to push it forward. Thanks
I write to 3K subscribers at Micro SaaS Ideas around similar topics
I will write down my idea, answer if my idea solves a problem, look at any possible competitors, write down features, think whether or not I can build it, decide if this is a long term or short term idea, and conduct some market research. After that, if it's an app idea I will design and then start coding. Anything else, I'll create a single landing page to get a better feel.
