From Networking Disappointment to Meaningful Circles — Building Netuorked in Public

I’m a full-time manufacturing pro, MBA candidate, part-time indie hacker wannabe, and career-long victim of “networking.”

I do think networking is broken, and we've all been exposed to it:

  • “Let’s connect” = “Let me sell”

  • Endless doom scrolling and algorithm throwing latest hot news at you, nothing to do with building professional network

  • Everyone’s shouting, nobody’s listening

The weirdest thing is that I believe we all need and want to talk, but it somehow just doesn't happen. We’re afraid of being rejected — or worse, mistaken for yet another sales pitch.

So I’m building Netuorked — a side project turned mission.

A place for career switchers, underrepresented folks in tech, young professionals to:

  • Join structured peer circles (no fluff, real outcomes)

  • Grow with others like them

  • Actually look forward to "networking"

Tech stack: Replit MVP, EmailJS, Postgres coming

Launch plan: Organic via Twitter, Reddit, and partnerships

Monetization: Low-cost premium tiers, free pilot for communities

I’m chasing 100 real users who actually care.

Follow if you’re into building really small and slow, turning pain into product, making community > content.
