From No-Code Experiments to My First Real Micro-SaaS

I joined Indie Hackers way back in 2019.
I saw so many inspiring SaaS and product stories that made me want to build something of my own.

But at the time, I didn’t have the technical skills to create anything more sophisticated than a blog or a simple website.

Then the no-code movement came along, and I thought:

“This is finally my time to build something people might actually use!”

And I wasn’t wrong — I built something that went viral.
But it didn’t make any money… not because the product was bad, but because there was no business model behind it.

Then came the vibe coding era.

I spent around 3 months learning how to:

  • prompt properly,
  • debug issues,
  • and understand the underlying problems — especially when the AI couldn't solve them or kept repeating the same error.

And finally… I built it.
🎉 My first micro-SaaS: ReplyStickr

It’s a small, specific tool that my team and I personally use to make content for social media.

You could call it a Reply Sticker Generator or a fake Instagram comment generator.

Sure, there are other tools out there.
And yes — you can design it manually using Canva or Photoshop.

But ReplyStickr removes the friction:
Just type the comment, upload a photo, and generate a clean, ready-to-use reply-style sticker.

It even supports TikTok and YouTube Shorts — two platforms with similar content needs but very few tools built for them.

It’s not perfect.
But I’m proud of it.
Because it’s real. It works.
And it’s the first product I’ve shipped with a clear problem, user need, and business model behind it.

Thanks for reading.

Nice, I love it when people build saas app on a micro niche, it reduces the cost of marketing and you can acquire the entire market.

    What technology are you using?

Hi, thank you for your kind words!

I'm only using Next.js and html2canvas (along with a few smaller tools) for the project. I don’t really know all the details, since AI handled about 70–80% of the frontend work.

Hmm, Nice. If you need any help, I would love to help you out.
