From No Idea To Launch In Less Than 2 Weeks

I've been looking for my next side project all year (2024). And of course, when you're looking for something, you rarely find it. Then, less than two weeks ago, a new side project fell into my lap.

At my day job, we built a tool that sparked an idea. This led to me reaching out to a friend, and we started coding immediately. In less than 2 weeks, we had a more than functional MVP ready to go. We just launched today!

Orbiter is the simplest way to host static websites and apps. We built this to make the web fun and simple again. No complex deployment processes. No gitops workflows. Just drag and drop your assets and have a site up and running in seconds.

We're live on Product Hunt today, but haven't gotten much traction. That's totally fine because the real win is stumbling into the idea and shipping it. Now, we turn our attention to marketing.

So if you're worried about finding an idea, just sit back and let it come to you. 😉

    Looks simpler than most

I'm more used to automated flows so probably not the target audience as I'm good with complexity, cry once and forget about it for a while :D

Haha I like that. “Cry once, forget about it for a while.”
