🚀 From Pivot to Success: Meet the world’s simplest eCommerce Platform - Uvodo

Long time no see!

Last time I posted, I talked about how we built and sold Nextsale for 7 digits, and what our next plan was - at that time, we were building Uvodo.

The thing is, we started Uvodo as a self-hosted eCommerce platform. Though the self-hosted version of Uvodo had many advantages like owning the data and source code, full customization, and costing a one-time fee, we realized that self-hosting a website was not every retailer’s cup of tea because of the technical side.

💡Building the simplest and the most profitable eCommerce platform began by listening attentively to our first users, analyzing their needs, collecting valuable customer feedback, trying to find market fit, and thinking over how we can serve the eCommerce retailers the best. This led us to pivot from the previous version of Uvodo (Self-hosted).

Since the day we launched the self-hosted version of Uvodo, we created our portal where we collected feature requests and feedback from the early users. In addition, we fostered an interactive community on Discord, actively engaging with our users.

Thankfully, we were able to recognize the demand of customers and pivot quickly without being too late.
