From SEO auditor with 1400+ users to SEO reporting tool - this is the journey of SerpMaze

Hi all,

I am Rasmus. I recently made a pivot for my SEO tool SerpMaze, and I would love to get your feedback on the new approach. Below is the full story on what SerpMaze started out as, and what it is now.

WHAT SERPMAZE STARTED OUT AS:
Last September, I started developing an SEO tool called SerpMaze. Initially, it was designed as an SEO auditor and keyword tracker for business owners. This approach led to more than 200 signups and over 1400 users trying out the SEO auditor feature. However, I realized that the keyword tracker was the real driving force behind user engagement.

THE PROBLEM I RAN INTO:
The challenge was that non-SEO professionals often struggle to identify which keywords they should track. Conducting a proper keyword analysis is crucial for determining the right keywords. So, I decided to pivot SerpMaze's focus towards SEO professionals who have a better understanding of keyword selection and emphasize its reporting capabilities.

WHAT SERPMAZE IS NOW:
So, SerpMaze is now a customizable keyword-tracker for SEO professionals.

THE PROBLEM I AM NOW TRYING TO SOLVE:
SEO professionals typically spend significant time on reporting their performance to clients. This process can be both time-consuming and monotonous. With SerpMaze, SEO professionals can now effortlessly share a unique read-only link with their clients, granting them access to a keyword table. This way, clients can track the progress of the SEO work being performed in real-time.

FEEDBACK:
This feature (I hope) not only helps build trust between the SEO professional and the client but also allows for customization of the shared data. For instance, if an SEO professional wishes to share only the top 3/10/30 keywords, they can easily do so.

I would love to hear your thoughts! If you are a SEO professional - would this be interesting for you use with your clients?

Btw, there is a gif on the frontpage of SerpMaze that explains how the customizable keyword-tracker works.
