From Setbacks to Success? Building 3 Products in this Year πŸš€

Hey IndieHackers community! πŸ‘‹

Excited to share my journey of resilience and learning in the world of product development in 2023. 🌐

Product 1 & 2? Yep, they didn't quite hit the mark. 🎯 But failure is just a stepping stone, right? πŸ’ͺ

First lesson which i learned, marketing > quality (short term), for validation especially. You can build amazing, top quality app, but withour proper marketing, no one knows about it.

So how to market? I don't have a right answer at the moment, maybe that's why previous 2 products failed (one still running handlespot.pro).
But if i'll figure it out with this product i will share the lessons for sure.

So lets try again, introducing Flouq.comβ€”my latest creation, a task tracker designed to simplify freelancer life. πŸ“Œ

If you're like me who often email clients about freelance tasks updates, and need a simple place for you and your client to keep track of tasks - this is for you.

Here's to hoping the third time's the charm! πŸ₯‚

Check out Flouq: https://flouq.com and let's inspire each other to keep pushing. 🌟

Congratz on your tool! A few comments on the landing page of Flouq to maximize it's marketing potential.

    • Use audience-based positioning. The best solution for underserved market. Make the whole page about that
      Example title and subtitle:
Reimagined task tracking for modern freelancers
Flouq is the only tool freelancers need to collaborate with clients and deliver projects on time, and on budget.

    • Use short, clear, concise, credible sentences

    • Tell exactly how you serve the modern needs of freelancers to connect with clients

    • Add a bit more differentiation, other Task tools also allow you to collab with clients

Yeah πŸ˜… Too bad apps doesn' t get more users for quality at beginning. Lesson here i guess is - learn not only to build, but to market too. πŸ“’
