From solo struggle to paired focus sessions

I've tried a dozen Pomodoro solo timers. They work... until they don't.

When I'm alone, I cheat: "just a quick tab", "I'll start after email", etc. My consistency tanks around week 2.

Pairing creates a tiny social commitment that keeps you honest without heavy process. It's like a magic trick for me.

So I built a paired-focus layer you can run in the browser:

  • join a public session or invite a buddy
  • run synced timers
  • track streaks and see a simple leaderboard that rewards consistency and focused hours.

I'm testing this week if it helps people like it does for me. Do people join public sessions? Does pairing increase next-day return vs solo?

If you try to focus for 1 session, tell me what stopped you from starting faster.
