A few years ago, I started using Google Sheets for managing my finances, and it worked well for a while. But as my financial planning needs got more complex, I hit some limitations with spreadsheets, especially with tracking assets and forecasting future scenarios. So, I decided to build something that could handle those issues: FinancialAha! You can check it out here: https://www.financialaha.com. The financial template on: https://www.financialaha.com/financial-planning-template-spreadsheets/.
It’s a free financial planning app that aims to address the gaps I found in spreadsheets. While I’m planning to add some paid features in the future (details are on the pricing page), the basic functions for financial planning and projections will remain free. It’s currently best used on desktop, but I’m working on a mobile version.
Here’s what it can do:
Feel free to give it a try and let me know what you think: https://www.financialaha.com.
Tech stack: Hugo deployed on Netlify, VueJS deployed on Firebase.
