From where do you think the no-code beginner should start?
Should it be reading or video materials?
Well, that's a matter of opinion.
When I started to learn how to build apps without code, I went through different resources reading as well as videos, etc.
And my opinion is that the most effective way to learn is from video tutorials.
Nowadays, we have many websites and platforms that provide such content.
I started with WordPress, CSS, and HTML then switched to Tilda, and finally, I settled on learning the Bubble platform through video courses. And in this case, I felt a big step ahead.
Of course, reading materials also are valuable, such as forums, StackOverflow, Github and help find appropriate info much faster, especially if you have speed reading skills and can read “diagonally”.
However, video tutorials are much harder for those who are not familiar with the language in the video, or have difficulties in listening comprehension.
Anyway, the ability to use both reading and video materials will speed up your no-code learning and building.
How started your no-code journey? And what do you think is the best way to learn from?
Watch one "How to get started" video and then dig into the product and learn by doing. When you are getting stuck not being able to achieve something specific - you can try and find it in the documentation.
Watching or reading too much before you even start will just slow you down, you will forget the most of what you learned.
so, your choice is to watch, right?
If you just need to get started then yes, watch.
Every no-code pro I know has basically just started by jumping right into it. Give yourself a task, and try to get it done - use Google to help you along the way. Nothing against courses, but all the "serious" people I know in this space have just learned by trying.

that's what I meant - you give a task yourself, then searches for the appropriate no-code platform, select the course that is convenient for your needs, watching and building while learning. And all this at your own pace.
I think this is perfect combination!

People are more about understanding depicted information where they can see an example, follow and reproduce it. reading is boring and long. Your customers will refuse longreads and will prefer short and meaningful video tutorials. :)

I can code, but I recently learned Bubble. I started with this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y05Q3-KPLRk "Building a community website in Bubble". That got me started with the basics - further questions were filled in by the Bubble forums (pretty active there).
I ended up building VCvsME.com with my newfound skills - a tool for entrepreneurs to review and improve pitch decks, and find investors. It's totally feasible to learn no-code, it takes dedication and perseverance, but it was much easier than learning full stack dev - and much more robust and productive, too!
