From words to UX Wireframes - Figma plugin + automation
Hey all. Myself and my co-founder are building an app which allows founders to generate bespoke UX Wireframes on Figma, without needing design skills.
We have developed a smart questionnaire to identify app key users stories, features in functionality. From this we are taking the natural language and pushing it into our Figma plugin, which automatically generates screens specific to their use-case.
We hope this will help founders, without design skills to better visualise their idea.
We are developing the Beta at present and hope to launch V1 on Product Hunt soon - if people like the idea.
If this sounds like an app you would use, please comment below. I image we will need some Beta testers soon. Looking for around 5 or ten people who are happy to admit they don't enjoy designing wireframes.

I am a designer, so take this with a big grain of salt.
You can't automate good design. If it's just wireframes and a starting point... sure. But what happens when you need color scheme, content, stock images, etc? It's such a nuanced process.
Great point. I am sure that developers feel a bit the same about no-code tools, and doctors feel the same way about IBM watson and predictive algorithms for clinical diagnosis.
We are not trying to replace designers - we love designers. We are trying to give people without the ability to design or the funds to pay a designer a start.
Founders will be able to start to visualise what they can do in wireframes fast. We then give them the frames in an edit format, so that they can start moving things around, and playing with design elements. Think of it a little but like painting by numbers, for people that want to learn to paint, or colour.
We help by providing the design infrastructure so that they can create.
Perhaps they take their wireframes to a designer like you 🙌, to show you want sort of screen they need, so that you can have a starting point for a professional design 😉.
I hope that brings a little more clarity to what we are trying to achieve.
It's not about replacing designers - just democratising design a little. Some people really struggle to get their ideas into basic visualisations.
Design is so hard. If this works it will be amazing!
