Hey Indie Hackers!
It's been just a few weeks since I introduced Woberry to this community, and what a journey it's been! I wanted to share a quick update on our progress and some exciting developments.
Our First Customers & Revenue 🎉
When I launched Woberry, I wasn't sure if others would share my frustration with the job search process. Turns out, they absolutely do! We've welcomed our first paying customers, and seeing that first revenue come in has been incredibly validating.
What's been most rewarding is the feedback. One user, Bella, told us she landed 3 interviews in her first week using our platform. Another shared that our AI auto-apply feature submitted applications and helped them land interviews much quicker.
Based on early user feedback, we've made several key improvements:
Enhanced ATS Optimization - Our AI now analyzes job descriptions more effectively, boosting keyword matching from 70% to 85+%
Expanded Auto-Apply Functionality - The system now not only finds relevant positions but customizes each application with personalized elements that speak directly to the job requirements
Interview Coach Refinement - We've expanded our question database to include specific questions from 2,500+ companies and added real-time feedback on verbal and non-verbal communication
Application Analytics - Users can now track their application performance against industry benchmarks to continuously improve their approach
While we're still early in our journey, some metrics have genuinely surprised me:
Users are saving an average of 5-10+ hours per week on job searching activities
Our templates are achieving a 3x higher interview rate
The AI auto-apply feature is actually landing our customers interviews.
We're just getting started! Here's what we're working on:
Integrating directly with more job boards for even smoother auto-applications
We're exploring becoming a recruiting company that leverages our customers' resumes to match them with jobs and contract opportunities. This "both sides of the table" approach could create a powerful network effect
Building a community feature where job seekers can support each other through the process
This B2B expansion represents an exciting evolution. Instead of just giving job seekers tools, we'll actively help place them with employers, creating a more complete ecosystem for career advancement.
The job search shouldn't be a full-time job itself. Our mission is to make it efficient, effective, and maybe even a little enjoyable.
If you're on the hunt or know someone who is, I'd love for you to check out Woberry. As always, I'm excited to hear your feedback and suggestions!
