Hey everyone 👋
I’ve been experimenting with building small, niche websites that generate leads for local service businesses, and recently I launched a project focused on mold remediation in Fort Myers, Florida.
The idea is simple: instead of creating a generic blog, I’m building a location-specific site that targets real homeowner problems—like hidden mold, indoor air quality, and moisture issues that are common in humid areas.
The interesting part is how different this feels compared to traditional blogging. It’s less about publishing tons of content and more about:
Understanding local search intent
Creating highly targeted pages
Building trust through helpful content
I’ve started with a basic version of the site here:

Right now, I’m focusing on:
Publishing problem-solving content (not fluff)
Experimenting with different platforms to see what actually drives traffic and engagement
Learning how local SEO behaves compared to global niches
Still early days, but I’m curious to see how far this model can go—especially in competitive service niches.
Would love to hear if anyone here is working on similar local lead-gen or SEO projects, and what’s been working for you.
