Full-stack dev with ML/AI experience looking for projects

About Me
I'm a versatile full-stack engineer working for an enterprise SaaS company who has built dozens of new projects and features. I'm intimately experienced with the whole lifecycle of product development, from ideation and design, to MVP/prototyping, to shipping scalable, performant solutions on multiple cloud platforms. I'm fluent in most of the important back-end languages and front-end frameworks, and I always try to pick the best tool for the job, even if that means I have to learn a new technology/language.

Over the past 3 years I've also led several ML projects (mostly solo) which required me to build the datasets, engineer custom neural network architectures, train/validate the models, integrate the data pipelines and inference solutions and deploy models to cloud providers.

What I'm looking for
I'm ready to start working on any solution targeting an important problem. I have some ideas for products but I'm not in love with anything at the moment. Ideally I'm looking for a serious passionate product person who needs help brining an idea to life, or is looking for an equally passionate technical co-founder to help come up with an idea together.

What I'm not looking for

  • Trivial "quick buck" projects.
  • Anything that relies on advertising or tracking/selling user data
  • Anything that is a clone/copy of an existing service

Misc. details

  • Based in the US
  • Can dedicate 15-20 hours per week in early stage
  • Have money for seed funding if the idea is worth it

If you want to get to know me

  • Drop a short response about why we may be a good match (I don't need details about your idea)
  • A way to contact you

@heavyarms this is kind of interesting for me.. I recently had to drop one of my cofounders and have been tinkering with the idea of looking out for another.

For the sake of transparency, our MVP is built, I have a technical cofounder and another co-founder who is heading the ML work.

Would this be interesting enough to discuss further?

Hi there! My co-founder and I are building a startup called Swym, which is a prize-linked savings game using Bitcoin. We are very passionate about encouraging individuals to adopt Bitcoin as a long term savings strategy. We would love to chat more about working together! Here is our current website (www.swympools.org) and github (https://github.com/Swym-Pools/Swym_App). You can email me at danielle@swympools.org. I hope to hear from you!

I'm currently working at a robotics startup where I lead the development of our web-based applications using React/TypeScript/Node.js. I have several ideas that I've been working on, but am mostly looking to find a partner that I think is a good fit and letting an idea grow from there. Let me know if you'd be interested in chatting and discussing some ideas. You can email me at rrb@altmails.com.

Hey! Product Manager here. I have a OCR business card reading app (built in Swift) that is in need of a great long-term partner who might also enjoy the challenge of developing image processing algorithms together :)

The UX is nailed-down (I've been testing it for a while), please see it in action here:
