Fun weekend project: building a game!

So I came across this article on BBC's public release of its 16,000 sound effects for free download: https://happymag.tv/bbc-sound-effects-archive/

My wife and I clicked through some of it and had fun trying to guess the sound. They're really specific! Example: "Ingersoil Rand compressor pump operating with start and stop. (Sewage pump, 1896, with belt-drive)".

WTF.

Then I thought - hey this could be a fun game! And I could do with a break from "serious work" so I've decided to make this my fun weekend project.

And of course, I'll be building this in public. Follow the updates at https://twitter.com/farez.

So what should I call the game?

You can also try the same scheme with info blog. There are many platforms are doing the same job online. You can see demo on pickhomegears.

Love this, you should send it to press publications that published the BBC release.

      Good idea, thanks!

There's a slightly more polished prototype here: http://vidvam.com. Want to have a go and let me know what you think?
