Funding
Hey there,
I know that I can work on the project which removes much of the expense already. However, any advice on how an indie developer to receive funding ?
- So far, all I have is a prototype, signup page, and a landing page in the works. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand, most places that fund projects will want to see some kind of traction in the product and revenue.
Why do you need funding in the early stages of your project?
I need funding because I prefer to work on my business. I'd rather not be another worker bee. I realize that I can use an employer to work on this project. However, due to the pandemic the number of remote jobs and competition thereof has also increased, which has made financial stability difficult to say the least. I have done the research and I'd just like some clarification. Once I have a prototype and a functioning site and "business plan" what would be the next step ? contact people randomly or cold emails ?
