I know of Earnest & Tiny Seed Accelerator.
What other investors out there are focused on us IH'ers?
SureSwift Capital, Mudbrick Capital, Chenmark there is even a podcast called Think like an owner. Then you have revenue financing. It depends whether you are looking to sell majority / minority of equity and change ownership or take on growth cash.
Thanks. Thinking mostly equity stakes but good to know who else is out there for alternative vehicles.
https://founderpath.com/ aka debt by @NathanLatka
Thanks Volkan!
Bad idea. Work your MVP as a side project until it pays for itself. Don’t go into debt for it.
Silly advice.
There are lots of forms of "debt". Bad debt would be: Personally guarantees, warrants, 20%+ super high interest rate
Good debt would be: Don't personally guarantee, lower interest rates, clean terms.
Using debt in smart ways allows you to scale without selling equity much faster than slugging away for years.
Silly advice? Considering that most ideas/MVPs/products won’t earn a dime, when is it ever a good idea to go into debt for one?
I think you are missing the point. The whole world runs on debt, but regardless of that you are throwing everything in one bucket. There are different types of debt and many industries would be obsolete without it. What you are referring to is bank debt. Founderpath finances businesses which already generate revenue and therefore can afford it on the balance sheet so they don't have to sell equity. Its apples and oranges.
I've deleted my other comment our of respect for your perspective and I really don't want to waste your time or mine on this.
There are no rules fellas. Lots of ways to build a good business.

There are a number of investors that would be investing at an early stage like where many IH'ers would be. I know Charles Hudson at Precursor Ventures invests really early, as does Jyri Engeström at Yes VC. Typically they will be at smaller funds investing really early. Depends of course on what your business looks like and where you want to take it if VC is for you. A number of Angel investors as well out there to look at and, depending on which ones, have various expectations on returns (What I mean is, some don't expect the typical VC-level exits and are okay with a 2-3x return).
