The key with all marketing should be to figure out your growth loop ♻️
Problem is that almost all marketing material forces marketers to think in funnels instead of loops.
❌ That's bad because funnels force you to assume that there will be drop-offs at every stage. So you're starting from a leaky foundation. This is why people end up blowing too much money in getting new users, because they aren't using loops.
Loops defy the laws of thermodynamics. Loops get you new users organically. Best part- you can engineer loops.
Thinking in loops forces you to think in terms of Inputs ➡️ {Amplification} ➡️ Outputs ➡️ Inputs.
Imagine a machine that produces 2x of what you put in. Then you put the 2x back in and get 4x... 8x... so on. This is against the laws of physics, hence such a machine does not exist. But you can make it happen with your growth- it's the ultimate "growth hack".
Your goal with marketing strategy should be to come up with a growth loop that amplifies your current customers, or other assets and brings in more than 100% of what you put in 🔁
This was high-level, but stay tuned for specific examples of these loops :)
This was a great post!
How would you go about implementing this strategy for a DTC brand? For example a pet treat company or cosmetic company?
