Hi everyone, my name is Ran.
I'm a father of two. I built a simple site called Future Goodbye after I was shocked by the sudden death of Kobe Bryant. Kobe was a big inspiration for me as a child, and his death has put me to realise how fragile our lives are. We can disappear from this world tomorrow without any prior notice. God forbid.
Not to mention the pandemic era the world is going through nowadays!
That's why I decided to build Future Goodbye. It's a site where I can write personal letters to be sent to my loved ones upfront, and in case something happens to me, it's sent and they can receive a letter from someone who they loved.
I'd love to hear any feedback to approve the product.

I really like the idea man! A couple things I would change would be right on the first page how it says "pass away in style." I don't think that's the real message you may be going for nor would it be the best way to capture your audience.
When I think of the idea I think of emotional & affectionate letters/emails that your loved ones receive at certain random times after they pass away to help brighten their day and make them smile. I don't think this has to relate to a "trendy, contemporary style of dying."
Its almost like revealing your diary to your love ones after you pass. The difficult part may be that one could be writing these letters at age 35 and not pass until age 80. That's a long time before their emails or letters are sent to their loved ones! Would the website still be live then?
Cool idea. I find the emotional load to write those letters quite heavy, also I think there is a self-defense mechanism that stops us from accepting our own death and breaking this unconscious barrier to get people to use the product could be hard. Nevertheless there is a significant portion of the population that is preparing to die and they would not have these issues. Anyways, I wanted to share an idea, Why not add to your product an unexpected twist: After a user writes down their letters, provide and encourage an option to send out the letters right there that instant! Obviously the platform would add an explanation introduction about how this message was written by xxx in case of a calamity etc.etc. The value here would be allowing people to be fully honest and finding an excuse to do something different, and perhaps trigger a chain effect were receivers enjoy the experience and decide to try it out themselves. Just a curious idea that I thought could add some value, maybe achieve an edgy marketing-viral effect. Let me know what you think about it, cheers!
