GA4 was lying to me, so I built a tag manager that knows when a visitor is GPTBot

Lead with the pain from your own agency: every QBR starting with "why is organic down 30%?", 89% of brands can't attribute AI referral traffic, and the moment you realized a chunk of "Direct" traffic was actually AI.

Congrats on launching. The interesting part is not identifying AI traffic, it is helping businesses avoid making decisions from misleading data. If a growing share of "direct" or "organic" traffic is actually AI crawlers and assistants, attribution, conversion rates, and even marketing budgets start getting distorted. That feels like a much bigger problem than analytics dashboards currently acknowledge.

I run independent product evaluations for early-stage SaaS. If you are looking for an external perspective, I can test VisitorType as a first-time user, evaluate whether the value proposition is immediately clear, validate the detection workflow, and produce a professional walkthrough video with actionable UX and messaging findings. If that would be valuable, let me know.

The attribution gap is real, but I'd keep validating whether customers are buying better analytics, or confidence that they can make marketing decisions in a world where AI referrals no longer fit traditional attribution models.
