Gain traction by emphasizing pain points

For a while I was struggling with engagement on my posts on various platforms. It didn’t seem to matter what the post was about, I had very little engagement. Then one day, it just clicked.

I realized that when I posted content, I was merely listing out features, or blandly outlining tips but with no context as to what benefit it provides to the readers.

Once I started emphasizing the pain points that I was coming to address (e.g. frustration, time consuming, boring, etc.) people started engaging much more.

When your selling an "asprin" that solves a problem add a bit of emotion with a call to action...
tired of XYZ? Wasting hours doing ABC? Get QQQ and finally end the misery, click here to learn more.

Selling a "vitamin" that makes something better....same deal....
Ready to lose 50lbs this weekend? Want to pown the nubes? Get ZZZ and take your game to the next level, click here to learn more.

It's like telling a story - describing the problem in a really bad light, the hellscape you are stuck in and the headaches it causes, how you fix that problem, what life is like after, call to action...

This is better than "we sort the data by both rows AND columns!!"

You might want to look into Unique Mechanism and Market Sophistication. Big words, I know. But they will provide you with the right strategy, because they are principles and principles hardly every change.

There is several of those copy-writing lizard-brain "frameworks" and marketing angles that works really well.

    • Pain / Agitate / Solution
    • AIDA (Attention / Interest / Desire / Action)
    • Features / Advantages / Benefits
    • QUEST (Qualify / Understand / Educate / Stimulate / Transition)
    • Problem / Promise / Proof / Proposal
    • Before / After / Bridge
    • Feature to Benefits
